RJK Explorations Ltd.:

Diamond Drilling to Begin
Stares / Calvert Property,
Thunder Bay, Ontario.

September 13, 2001 -- RJK Explorations Ltd., (CDNX: RJX.A) in conjunction with GLR Resources Inc. (formerly Greater Lenora Resources Corp.) (TSE: GRS) are pleased to report that a diamond drilling program will begin on their 50-50 joint venture Stares / Calvert Property located approximately 50 kilometres west of Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Drilling will be focused in the newly discovered showing area where massive / semi-massive sulphide mineralization was reported by the Companies during an extensive stripping program in late June of this year.
Recent exploration work completed by the Companies has included the establishing of a detailed control grid, magnetometer and phase IP geophysical surveying, lithogeochemical sampling of drill core and the showing area, channel sampling of the showing area and additional regional basal till sampling.
The geophysics were successful in identifying the sulphide mineralization from the overlying graphitic-argillitic horizon in the showing area and suggests a continuation of mineralization in an easterly direction for approximately 150 metres where possible depth (plunge) considerations become a factor. Westerly trending untested geophysical targets from the showing area will also need to be drill tested.
In a report prepared by James Franklin Ph.D. FRSC, it is indicated that with the discovery by the Companies of in situ massive, semi-massive zinc rich sulphides, that the area may contain a new volcanogenic sulfide district and the potential for the area to host additional sulfide zones is considered as being excellent.
Dr. Franklins' work has identified at least three additional high priority areas within the main felsic unit.
Exploration work to date, particularly in the main showing area, indicates the mineralization, metal grades, alteration and stratigraphic sequence are typical of other Canadian Archean Zn-Pb-Ag-Au, Cu mineral deposits.
Drilling is scheduled to commence on September 17th.
The Companies own or control through several option agreements a large and relatively unexplored land position containing geology favourable to the formation of VMS-type deposits.
The Companies would like to thank shareholders for their continuing support with this project and look forward to a successful drill program.
